WARRANTY

All NADEAU WATCHES come with a 12 month manufacturers warranty, valid from your date of purchase.

This warranty covers material production defects concerning the watch, strap, travel case and movement. It does not cover damage caused through misuse/physical force, or normal wear and tear.

Your warranty will be rendered void if any attempts are made to repair or modify your timepiece without prior consent from us.

It is important that if you have an issue with your watch or accessory you contact us first to discuss the issue.

WARRANTY CLAIMS - DOMESTIC

If a repair or replacement is required and you are located within Australia, we may either provide you with a return shipping label or reimburse you for any return shipping costs incurred in returning a watch back to us. provided you have first contacted us to discuss your issue.

Once we receive your timepiece, please allow up to 28 working days for assessment and repair.


WARRANTY CLAIMS - INTERNATIONAL

If a repair or replacement is required and you are located outside of Australia, we may instruct you to return your watch to us via your national postal service, using a tracked option. Upon receipt of your timepiece, we will reimburse you for the return shipping costs (a receipt for postage payment will be required). This option will only be available at our direction after you have contacted us to discuss your issue.

Once we receive your timepiece, please allow up to 28 working days for assessment and repair.

Alternatively, if you are located outside of Australia, we may recommend that you have a qualified local watchmaker perform the repairs to your timepiece on our behalf, to allow for a swifter resolution of any issues. In this case, we will reimburse you for any expenses incurred. This option will only be available at our direction after you have contacted us to discuss your issue.

GOODS DAMAGED PRIOR TO DELIVERY / INCORRECT GOODS DELIVERED

If you’re receiving your goods via courier / delivery and they are damaged during transit you have 14 days after confirmed delivery to report any damage, incorrect items or shortages in the order. Due to insurance requirements, after those fourteen days have passed we may not be able to assist.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPMENTS

If your order is shipping internationally (outside of Australia) it may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are levied once the package reaches the destination country. NADEAU WATCHES has no control over these charges and cannot estimate what they will be. Any charge that might be incurred is the customer’s responsibility. NADEAU WATCHES is not responsible for ANY duties, taxes or broker fees that may be charged to your shipment. For further information please contact your local customs office.

PRIVACY

At NADEAU WATCHES the privacy of personal information is important. Personal information provided by you is used to identify and dispatch your orders, respond to your requests, provide you with communications and to personalise your shopping experience with us. 

 

We do not sell any of your personal information. However personal information may be provided to a third party when it is required by law or for goods or services which you have purchased.

If you have provided contact details to us for the purposes of sales or marketing we may use these to contact you in relation to products, services, special offers and research. If you no longer which to receive marketing communications from us you can advise of us at any time by emailing info@nadeauwatches.com.au or by following an unsubscribe link in a marketing communication we send. Please allow up to 2 business days for a request to be processed.

We make all reasonable efforts to accurately display the photos and descriptions of our products; however, due to the style and method of manufacturing used, particularly in relation to many of the unique and handmade watch faces utilised in NADEAU WATCHES, the actual look and colour of a product you purchase may differ somewhat to the photos shown on this website. Colour is also impacted by your computer system or mobile device.

We attempt to ensure that information on this website is complete, accurate and current. Despite our efforts, the information on this website may occasionally be inaccurate, incomplete or out of date. For example, products included on the website may be unavailable, may have different attributes than those listed, or may actually carry a different price than that stated on the website. In addition, we may make changes in information about price and availability without notice. We will correct any pricing errors on the website as and when discovered.

It is your responsibility to ascertain and obey all applicable local, state, federal and international laws in regard to the possession and use of any item purchased from this website. By placing an order, you represent that the products ordered will be used only in a lawful manner.

 

SHIPPING

When an order is placed, it will be shipped to an address designated by the purchaser as long as that shipping address is compliant with the shipping restrictions contained on this website.

 

All purchases from this website are made pursuant to a shipment contract. As a result, risk of loss and title for items purchased from this website pass to you upon delivery of the items to the carrier. You are responsible for advising of the damage in accordance with the "Goods damaged prior to delivery / incorrect goods delivered' section of this policy page.

 

PLACING / ACCEPTING AN ORDER

Please follow the instructions on the website to place your orders. Your order constitutes an offer to us to buy the products and services. After receiving an order, we will send you an e-mail acknowledging that we have received your order (“Order Confirmation”). While it is our practice to confirm orders by email, the receipt of an email Order Confirmation does not constitute our acceptance of an order or our confirmation of an offer to sell a product or service.  All orders are subject to acceptance by us, and we will confirm such acceptance to you by sending you an email confirming the shipment of your order (“Shipping Confirmation”). A contract with us will be formed only when you receive the Shipping Confirmation. The contract will relate only to those products and services whose shipment we have confirmed in the Shipping Confirmation. We will not be obliged to supply any other products or services which may have been part of your order in the same or a separate Order Confirmation.

 

We reserve the right to cancel your order at any time before we have accepted it and we may rescind our acceptance and cancel your order where there has been an error in price or where the products or services are no longer in our inventory. We also reserve the right, without prior notice, to limit the order quantity on any product or service and/or to refuse service to any customer. We may also require verification of information prior to the acceptance and/or shipment of any order.

 

Please note that refusal to pay duties or taxes will result in a cancelled order and a cancellation fee may be deducted from any refund provided to you. where imposed, this fee will be to cover only our reasonable costs incurred by us due to your refusal to pay duties or taxes.

GIFT CARD TERMS

  1. NADEAU WATCHES Gift Cards (Gift Cards) entitle the holder to goods/services equal to the value stated on the Gift Card, or the relevant remaining after partial redemption. 

  2. Gift Cards are only redeemable directly via the NADEAU WATCHES website (www.nadeauwatches.com.au).  

  3. Gift Cards are partially redeemable and any unused balance will remain on the Gift Card and cannot be redeemed for cash.  

  4. Gift Cards may not be exchanged (wholly or partly) for cash.  

  5. The value shown on a Gift Card includes GST.  

  6. If the Gift Card holder's order exceeds the amount of the Gift Card, the Gift Card holder will be required to pay for the difference in price between the value of the Gift Card and the retail price of the goods or services.  

  7. Gift Cards are valid for three (3) years from the date of issue. The expiry date is listed on the Gift Card. 

  8. Should NADEAU WATCHES suspect any fraud relating to a Gift Card, NADEAU WATCHES may refuse to redeem the Gift Card until NADEAU WATCHES is satisfied that no fraud has occurred. 

  9. NADEAU WATCHES is not liable for any lost/stolen Gift Cards. Please contact NADEAU WATCHES immediately if your Gift Card has been lost/stolen. Lost/stolen Gift Cards can only be replaced if satisfactory proof of purchase is provided and the Gift Card has not been redeemed.
