FORLIN F1

Custom made - inspired by F1

With references to Formula 1, the timepiece draws elements from the iconic wheels, Pirelli tyres, font, and gauges used in motorsport.

The single hand provides a unique way of the time, reminiscent of the traditional analogue speedometers and stopwatches used in motor racing. This reference to the past is then coupled with laser cut carbon fibre - a staple of modern race cars and renowned for its strength and speed.

CARBON FIBRE INDEX RING

Carbon-fibre-reinforced polymer is a lightweight and strong material commonly used in automotive racing. Many times stronger than steel for its weight, its strength to weight ratio makes it a favoured material where speed and time is of the essence. The material can be identified by its intricate woven texture, which provides the key to its strength, while also giving it a recognisable pattern for those who know what to look for.

The index ring of the watch makes use of specially sourced carbon fibre of <0.2mm in thickness, laser cut with intricate numbers, markers and logos.
