THE USPIAM

Inspired by the sandstone cliffs and hillsides around Sydney Australia, the dial was custom made from hawkesbury sandstone which was hand carved to showcase the unique grain and texture of the natural stone.

This timepiece takes its name from the incredibly thin and delicate full-grain leather used on the dial. The leather is skived (thinned by hand) prior to use, taking it to <1mm in thickness to ensure that it can squeeze between the mechanical movement and the hands turning above.
